Camera and Go Pro Memory Card
I’m off to sunny Florida soon armed with my bridge camera, iphone and Go Pro.
What size memory cards would you get for 3 weeks of photo taking and video footage? Any advice welcomed! |

I have a hero 6 and will be shooting in 2k7 30FPS and am taking 3 128 GB cards but I'm also a portable usb drive to back up the backups.
At the risk of going off tangent some spare batteries is an extremely good idea !

you need to be a bit more specific... how much video are you likely to shoot, and in what resolution? (im assuming either 1080p or 4k, but theres a fair amount of difference in file sizes)
rather than a couple of massive cards, i would probably buy several smaller ones. that way, if one get lost or corrupted, youve not lost your entire holiday's worth of pictures. if youre just shooting jpg photos and not raw, you should be able to get away with 1-2 32gb cards plus whatever you think youll use in the gopro. youll get 2-4 hours per 64gb card the other option is getting something like this amazon/RAVPower-Wi...64c5cc61cab657 and then backing up the cards every day to a large usb stick or portable hard disk hth Edited at 08:03 AM. |
