Just booked HRH for the first time! Tell me about it!

Just booked HRH club room for the first 2 nights of our stay. Will be our first time staying at universal!

So excited! Any pictures? Any tips?

It's fab, you will love it

we have stayed there on our last 2 trips and booked again for next year. You can get the boat to parks or walk the path. The hotel itself is gorgeous 1st time we went our room got upgraded not so lucky the 2nd time tho.

I love HRH. It�s my favourite hotel as I love the atmosphere & the style of the rooms.

It�s easy to walk to the parks & City Walk & that�s faster than using the boats. Just walk through the pool area & use the gate. You can get back in through the hotel using a side door near the pool gate if the pool is closed for lightning.

I would also recommend spending time at the pool in the afternoon as they have live music or a dj.

We stayed last year for 2 nights and loved it. The pool is lovely and the walk to Universal is so quick (about 5 mins) and such a nice walk. I honestly felt like I was sleeping in the theme park 😂

Cocktails by the pool are amazing (food is v good too). If you get one cocktail your next one is cheaper (a refill).

Wine/beer is only served for a couple of hours in the evening in the club room. From memory 5-7pm.

A typical day at HRH for us would be up early for a quick bite from the club room, off to the park with a take out coffee, head to the park with the early opening and get to the gate 20 mins before park opening, they will let you through and hold you back, similar to disney rope drop. Do all the rides that we can then head back to the hotel, change into our swimwear then down to the pool for a lie down or swim. Back up to change, clubroom for a couple of wines, usually took them back to the room whilst getting ready to head out as the clubroom is mobbed at this time and then either head back to the park or out for evening meal. Remember and leave room for at least one doughnut from Voodoo doughnuts. They are so good
