Manchester Jet parks 1 warning
I booked a deal through holiday extras for a night at the Manchester prem inn (south) with parking at jet parks 1 for today.
Rocked up at jet parks 1 today, nobody on the entrance and barrier up which i thought was strange but assumed you had to scan out so they would check that we have paid then. Waiting for a bus i notice a lot of cabin crew arriving to wait too and when the bus arrives it turns out that jet parks 1 is now a staff car park! No idea about this and presumably someone should have said something The driver radioed control who said he could take us but it was only going to T1 so we had to walk to T2 - not the end of the world but it was quite a walk with 3 cases, 3 pieces of hand luggage, a 6 year old and a wrapped up car seat! Not happy and to be fair - not entirely sure how we will be getting back to the car park on our return (or if it’ll be clamped! ) so will now need to contact someone to ask them In better news, check in at United was great, lovely staff and hardly any queues and security was a doddle (we didn’t have fast pass) even if my DD (6) did get a full on security screening Sat waiting to board now (slight delay i think but nothing too worrying i think so i’m Happy we will make our connection at EWR) So if you think you are parking in jet parks 1 - i’d Check! |

You would have thought that Holiday Extras would have contacted you to tell you about the car parking changing.
Hope you have a great holiday and that your car is ok when you return! |

We had this in August but we actually had an email from holidayextras to say use Jetparks 2 instead. So sounds like Jet1 is siill staff only. I would contact holidayextras or contact customerservice@manairport.co.uk for advice.

All sorted now. Dad to the rescue 😂 online chat (I have the transcript) promising car is ok and just to press assistance button when I leave if the barrier doesn’t open.
