are their still many dollar shops around? every year we go theirs less and less of them, sometimes their apsolutly rubbish but you can, if your lucky get good things and sweets!

Dollar Tree is your best option for that sort of thing. They vary in size as well.
Dollar General isn't necessarily $1 items but it is cheap and cheerful shopping. I can't honestly say I've been in one in recent years. I do pop into Dollar Tree from time to time. |
