Please help - lost bear

We’re absolutely devastated - Adsrat posted recently about a lost bear and I replied saying that DD would be beyond devastated if she lost her bear and that’s what’s happened. He got left on VS15 LGW-MCO on Weds 11th Sept and we haven’t been able to track him down. Virgin say he hasn’t been listed and if he doesn’t get listed then he won’t be found. I’ve posted on FB but don’t have Twitter. Anyone got any other ideas? DD’s 22 and was given her bear when she was born.

I know in the grand scheme of life it may not be as bad as others are going through but it would mean the world to a young woman who has trouble coping with the world.

I managed to add a photo - it’s the bear at the back.

I have no advice but I really wish you luck getting it back.

My daughter lost her teddy she had from a baby in AKL and like you it was never listed so never found! Disney were amazing and tried to help by getting her to pick any soft toy but it just isn’t the same and still gets upset if it’s ever mentioned. She too was devastated so feel your pain

I’m an avid bear collector and I’m on a lot of FB bear groups, have you any pics of the bear or what make it was?

We do have a pic but I can’t upload it here. It’s a Mothercare pale green material bear. It has a material body which was, once upon a time, pale green with tiny white spots. It has a tail and the arms and legs are made out of the same material as the head, which is a sort of a short textured velvet material. Features are embroidered in black and lastly, a white ribbon around the neck. Obviously it doesn’t look like that anymore! I’m not even sure what the chances are of ever being able to find a replacement if we never find the original 😭

Get her to post what she can on whiteboomerang.com/lostteddy - it cross posts across social media. Us bears all wear harnesses with tags with our name and address...even then it's not 100% sure they'll be returned

Ebay is a good bet for old Mothercare teddies but it's hard to find without a picture
