It has always been approved for immigration purposes. The US just never got round to approving it for use by its own citizens.

We have Nov/Dec already booked (direct and a backup via Barbados). I'm just as excited for those of us who have 2022 bookings too - have a cruise booked in March 2022 that I was looking at pushing back to Dec 2022.

Yes. I’m really happy for everyone who will be able to go in November but personally gutted as we were so close with October half term. Although with unvaccinated teens not sure what the situation will be, will have to wait and see.
