She was the poor version of Cindy with hair that you could pull out and then wind back LOL.

Great start Sue, really looking forward to a non Florida trip report

Sears Tower is now called Willis Tower. They are a world wide insurance company who have a big glass building office here in Ipswich. Mrs T has worked there since the year dot!

Enjoying these!

We've booked a 7 seater for 6 of us and hoping for the same as you had. How many bags did you have?

We had three large cases, one medium and another small one, two laptop bags and one rucksack, all of which fitted in the boot space. Another two rucksacks went in the underseat storage, which was pretty large and could take all the waterproof jackets, walking boots and a 24 pack of bottled water easily as well.
It suited our needs really well, although the engine is too small for the vehicle and it struggled uphill (no torque) and going faster than 75mph on the interstates with us all and the luggage in! We gave it a pretty good hammering on some roads and were surprised that it just did not collapse when we handed it back at LAX

Ahem - Disclaimer.

Sue would like it to be known, that despite Linda's likening me to a "wee Tressie doll" - I do not actually have a hole in my back and a winder to shorten or lengthen my hair.

The comparison does in fact highlight Linda's advancing years as it was in fact, my older sister who had one of these dolls. I had the younger and trendier "Pepper" doll.

Just for you John - here it is, the top really was in the clouds that day and huge chunks of melting ice kept falling from the top. It was fun at the bottom watching them land!

And here is the Intercontinental hotel, where we stayed (in the tower bit):
