Mk fireworks viewing section on train station platform

Hi

We went to see happily every after on Monday. We went to view from our usual train station platform opposite the castle.
When we got there and throughout the show there were 3 cast members stopping anyone standing on the main viewing area of the platform just said reserved but no one ever appeared ?
Anyone know what this is for

I suspect it was reserved for a VIP but didn�t get used in the end. Tom Fletcher from the band McFly & a big name on YouTube was vlogging in the summer on a visit. He said Disney had arranged something special for them - they had a private dinner with Mickey & Minnie and then watched the fireworks from the benches on the train station platform.

It was so frustrating as we were squashed to the sides and this whole area empty. Wasn't sure if this was a permanent thing xx

What next, eh? Special VIP Tours that you can purchase if you have the money?

The Private VIP Tour provides reserved viewing areas for parades, select stage shows and night time spectaculars. So it may have been that someone booked that tour but, in the end, didn't use the reserved area (as hattyho said).

Still, you'd think by the time the firework show started that they'd know whether it was going to be used or not and make it available for anyone else if it wasn't.

It wasnt like they were looking around for anyone to appear , i thought it was shocking
