Disney Springs every day of the week... where else could I get my fix of Ghirardelli's without going there

Last two times we were there (2015, 2016 once in Apri-May, once in March-April) DS was packed with shoulder to shoulder people, worse on the weekend. Not sure if it was due to construction or what but made for a less than pleasant experience. My concern with relatively young children would be keeping an eye on all of them in packed crowds.
Definitely would not do a weekend. |

Some of the ticket sellers do this, limo transfer to Planet Hollywood and a voucher towards food (I think) might be worth a look .I would say Disney springs is more family orientated.

Ooh hard choice. I think Disney is more kiddie friendly for sure and the atmosphere reflects that (please don't do Planet Hollywood when there's so many other fab restaurants there). Universal has a more 'cool' atmosphere but I totally would take kids there too. No doubt you'll have fun either place.

City Walk has adventure golf but is much smaller so all in all Disney Springs may be a better option.
But Toothsome for an amazing children friendly, sugar overload for kids would with hands down food wise

I'm a universal fan for parks but DS is a much nicer place to walk around

Yes def Disney Springs, if your your girls are anything like mine, they will love the shops, Zara, Sephora, MAC, massive Disney and lego store, good entertainers dotted around and a good variety of restaurants. Have fun.

I love DS. Nothing better that sitting outside House of Blues or the little stage in Marketplace with a cocktail listening to live music.

We did both last year and Disney Springs has more to do and more choice of shops and restaurants IMO.
