Celebration, Talk to me..
We have been lucky enough to have been to Florida more than once but every visit has always been for 2 weeks, so no time for anything other than the parks and shopping.
Our next visit in Aug 19 will be for 3 weeks so are looking at doing things we haven't had time for in the past. I always see Celebration mentioned on threads and in trip reports but don't know anything about it. Can you lovely Dibbers shed some more light please, is it just a nice place to go? if so why? I read somewhere that there is a market on sundays? Any information would be greatly appreciated so we can decide if we should be a place to visit. |

Well worth going to Celebration. I was dubious when my wife wanted to go trick or treating there a few years ago on Halloween but it is a lovely neighbourhood, the houses are amazing.

We love going to Celebration! We go every Sunday we are there - start by going to the church service at 11.11am and then wander over to Starbucks for an iced coffee. We then stroll along the front with some time spent on the rocking chairs and a lookout for gators! We usually take a look around the market too and buy some fruit. It is a lovely way to spend a few hours. The kids sometimes take a race through the fountains too

We always go at least once a trip for an evening. So tranquil sitting looking out over the lake.

Celebration is our go to place 1st morning when we are awake ridiculously early. We go for a stroll around the lake and then stop at Kilwins and enjoy an ice cream on the rocking chairs at the pavilion.
A new ice cream shop opened up last October so will try that this year. We are the same as Woodentop and will walk beyond the lake until we reach Eastlawn and admire all the fabulous houses there. A beautiful place to spend a few hours.x |

Love it, we even stayed there at the Bohemian for 3 nights last trip. You can hire bikes to ride around the lake complex, or just have a nice long nature walk. Kilwin's for ice creams, Starbucks for coffee, there's a splash fountain kids can play in, and rocking chairs at the lakeside; a few nice little local shops and lots of places to eat - our favourite is Celebration Town Tavern. There are photos in my last trip report (link below).
