Rather convoluted Fast Pass question
Hi all,
So, I'm sat looking at rides for fast pass and I've hit a snag There are 3 of us on this trip. 2 adults and one 6 year old. I'll try and keep this as simple as possible! If I want to go on a ride that the little one won't/can't go on, I believe I can do rider switch. However, am I right in thinking that if I did a fast pass for this ride, the person I would be switching with would also need to have a fast pass for it? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer! |

They don't, technically.
However this may open the floodgates for the debate of what is morally right. |

The moral debate is that the system essentially allows you to book twice as many fast passes in advance when using rider switch. Some people find this unfair. Since a FastPass doesn't guarantee that you'll get on within, say a few minutes (just guarantees to be quicker, not a specific time) using the system is entirely appropriate in order that there isn't excessive waiting when you have to do it separately. However the system could still demand that you both have a fastpass in the first place, which it doesn't.
Since that is how the system is designed, I say use it as designed - and the plus is that it means that both the adults and children get a chance to FastPass suitable rides as extra ones can be chosen. But as I said some people do object to this as being unfair and it often causes debate. |

Thankyou for all of your replies. Apologies, I didn't realise I was potentially opening a can of worms by asking, I just wasn't sure how the system worked!
Thanks again, I can now plan a little better xx |
