Old MYW hopper ticket

Hi,

We have some old 10 day park hoppers with water park option with still 1 theme park day, and 5 water park days left on.
However, as they are so old my son's ticket is for a 3-9 year old.

We have to go to Guest Relations anyway to get our other set of MYW tickets (we have 5 theme park days left on those - all adult), so I assume we would need to upgrade the child ticket also to an adult?

Guess I could phone them and ask!

I'm sure MYW tickets expire 14 days after first use so they will be no good

They are non expiry, I realise they do not make those anymore but they are still valid.

Your old paper tickets will have to be changed to the new plastic RFID tickets. They will do this at Guest services for you.

If your wanting to book fastpasses, I believe you can contact Disney and have the tickets included in your MDE. disneyworld.disney.go/en...ses-remaining/

However, if you do this you need to ensure the tickets are prioritised they way you want to use them for entry.

In relation to the child ticket issue.

from another disney forum:

In these circumstances, the child’s ticket may be presented at any Guest Services location, in person only, to have it exchanged for the required “adult” ticket — at no additional charge! This only applies to partially used tickets that have not expired.

Thanks, yes I know we need to go to Guest Services to have the paper tickets updated.

We do actually have another set of MYW park hopper/non expiry tickets with 5 days left, they are already linked to our MDE.
The older one's are not.

I guess we can explain all this when we get there.

We did that last time, took our old hopper tickets to GS and they swapped them for the new style of card. My daughter's ticket was upgraded to an adult one FOC and they even added on an extra water park day for some unknown reason. Not complaining though

We found when we upgraded DD's child ticket it also had extra water park days added 👍

Is there a way of finding out if old tickets have days left on them? How old are the tickets people are exchanging?

Ive also got the non expiry tickets , mine have loads of fun days left on them, can I ask to those that have had them changed, are they still non expiry?
