He obviously takes everything seriously and must be great fun to be around (along with his tall stories mate who follows him around to give him a like).

That's it. I'm calling immigration! There's NO way an northern would admit to that! & not once has a northerner had brunch! It's just a snack or the second half of breakfast.

Its looks too high to me.
Is it to do with the way people pronounce bus and bath?

I dont find it funny. its an old stereotype, similar to the other skit of northerners. It is hard enough being taken seriously outside of liverpool with a scouse accent, what next "Eh, calm down!" and shell suit jokes?

feel free to mock and brush off as "hes only having a laugh" but remember that there are people at the other end of your put-downs.

Err Beatles? I think you are the one putting Liverpool down, it's buzzing, it's cultural and the people are hilarious. I'm going back, I didn't get to eat Scouse or go on the ferry!

I have a Scouse accent and live outside of Liverpool. I don’t ever find that people don’t take me seriously because of that.
It’s been a very hard year for most, this is just a group of friends ribbing each other.
Ignore the thread is the best bet

I’ll make you some when I come down. You might not have the right type of pan though, I’d guess southern ones won’t taste the same
