I tend to check in dollars and pounds as some times you can get a bargain either way.

I was really shocked to see Planet Hollywood at $509 for a night though ..that's crazy money... For the 8 nights we are in Vegas PH would be $2133 + tax +$245 resort fee... mind boggling.
Where do you tend to look when pricing hotels up in dollars?

No problem. We stayed as I said at PH, and for the attractions we wanted to do we didn't have to venture too far. Each hotel is giant, so some times feels like you've been walking ages and still haven't got anywhere!
They also have premium outlets like in Orlando (but I found one to be far better than the other but can't remember which!)
I would definitely recommend the skywalk at the Grand Canyon though!

The north outlets is better than the south by a long way .

As for the skywalk it's very much like marmite some love it many don't . Personally and i pass the road turning every year it's a dislike for me , it's expensive and the fact you can't even take your own pics ..

The helicopter isn't cheap either I know , but you do get a decent amount of time at the canyon and
See lots of other things .

You can use the flamingo pool if you stay at the Linq.

I am with Daytona Babe a car is an absolute must for us I don't care if it stays in the car park half the days it's there. Also I agree south end of the strip is my fave area though Mirage is my favourite hotel.

Prices are nuts we stayed at Encore free for opening, Wynn at $129 and have done excalibur and Luxor for under $40. $509 for PH is nuts I don't like the hotel anyway .

I've just come back from 4 nights at the Linq and can recommend it. The room was fine, plenty of food options in and very close to the hotel. Plenty of drinks in the casino (even though we were only playing penny slots). Great location and it was cheap!

Have done 3 stays of 3-6 nights and only rented a car to get out of Vegas for part of the stay.
