2013 we did Disney and universal.
2014 we did Disney, seaworld and discovery cove.
2016 We did universal, seaworld, Kennedy and Disney.
This year we are doing Disney and universal.
We are thinking of universal and sea world - no Disney for 2018 if affordable.
If it's a one off holiday I'd want to do everything but knowing I will most likely return I'm happy to do whatever, it's nice for your holidays to feel different.

Can you share some ideas for 'other' things to do please?

We drove to Clearwater and spent a couple of days there, did an airboat ride and spent an afternoon at Celebration. Spent more time in the malls and chilling at the villa than we did on our first Orlando holiday as well

Thanks for your ideas. SeaWorld is out of the equation, have only been there once which was once too many. I think relaxing by the pool is a great idea, but I dont want to go all that way and just sit in a villa. Has anyone done anything unusual like picking oranges in an orange grove, I think there is one down US27.

We went to an Orlando City game-that was a really good experience. The atmosphere was amazing-far better than anything I've seen in England

By your countdown you're going in August? That's not orange season I'm afraid. Some oranges were on the trees when we drove home today. August is just too hot for most fruit in Florida. The local farmers market has very little local fruit from June to October.

There are plenty of things you can do! You'll have a blast. Sometimes it's nice to just take things at a slower pace there without the parks. Enjoy!

We do similar although this time is our first year staying onsite with ddp. We have not felt we have missed out at all when we have done this.
