I usually take some small packets of cereal, biscuits- digestives and ginger nuts so no chocolate, cereal bars and crackers with me.
We always do a supermarket shop for bottled water, crisps, bread, ham and fruit and that way we can eat breakfast in the room and take a few snacks to the parks. If we are eating lunch in the park we use our own drinks and sometimes share meals as the portions are generous.

We take a bag with snacks and water. Some days get a quick service meal other days leave around lunchtime and get something on way back to the villa.

We take a packed lunch and soda cans in a cool bag. It gives me something to do whilst watching the weather channel before getting them all up.

Walmart have a range of sub sandwiches which are massive. We split them up at the hotel/villa and took some snacks (fruit, crisps etc) - froze water bottles and yes to the squash'd when using the free counter service water.

There's every single menu for every snack place and eatery on this website. It's well worth an hour going through each one and noting down the places with the kind of snacks or light bites you would eat. That way you have a quick guide for each area you are in for the park.

We've not had the dining plan twice and just eat quick serve in the parks, we have maybe 1 or 2 adrs and that's it (usually sci fi and a character meal). We eat a decent breakfast at the resort foodcourt, a qs lunch and then either eat qs in the parks/resort or occasionally off site for dinner (Perkins etc) depending on what we're doing. We don't tend to buy many snacks in the parks (haven't seen any for $10?) sometimes if we aren't too hungry we may have an ice cream sundae instead of qs lunch. We buy bottles of water and take 1 each to the park with us and refill with free iced water. We buy a few snacks for the room from Walmart but don't tend to take these out with us.

To be honest, I'm saying Walmart - it very well could be Publix since that was closer to our hotel...

Sorry to hijack but can you get the refillable cups filled with water if needs be? Or is it just soft drinks?
