Buy nappies out there or take your own?
Hi all
Which have you done? We are staying in villa and family arriving there before us so could Stock up on nappies and wipes from Walmart or we could take our own? Generally use Aldi at home. X |

Take your own...nappies seem quite expensive over there...plus you will have the extra room in your luggage for shopping.

When my 28 year old was tiny, I took enough for travel and the first day and went shopping to Walmart the first morning. Then disposables were a lot cheaper there than here. I did take my own nappy sacks though.

We took a pack and bought some out there to stock up. They have familiar brands. I would take a few in hand luggage and rest of pack in case. I would then just buy out there as and when needed.

I'd take from home as chances are you'll have the room in your suitcases on the way out and it's one less thing to worry about once you arrive.

I always take enough nappies and swimming nappies to last the holiday as they are a fair bit dearer than I'm used to paying at home.

Agree, take with you as leaves more room for shopping coming home!
I think they are more expensive over here, esp pull ups as i looked the other day! Think we may just run out of pull ups which is a bit annoying!

I did a mix, partly because we forgot a load of nappies we were meant to put in the car seat bag! The are pricey but not too bad. I'd also advise on disposable changing mats - I've got a couple of packets of them too.
