beaches at melborne
We are staying at Kissemmii and looking at venturing out East on 192 to Melborne because it seems like like a straight road down there. Last time, we went to Cocoa Beach however living in Cornwall it just seemed like an American version of Newquay! Any of you guys ventured around this area and what are the beaches are like?

hi
it's a very long and boring road - we went last year, really looking foreward to it what a let down. had heard that melbourne had a fantastic theatre which was very well patronised by big names so thought it would be a reasonable sized place. the beach was o.k. not much different to cocoa beach. the nicest beach we went to was vero beach absolutely gorgeous. disney has a hotel there which comes up on the iunternet booking sites also there are chain motels and lots of condos aqnd villas. i'm not sure where to search for these but a general google search for accommodation in vero beach should show something. takes 2hrs down the fast road, well worth a visit ( i really must learn to type or get a spelling corrector)! |
