Heartbroken is the word, worked for Thomas Cook for over 15yrs in the Worthing Branch. It�s all I�ve never known and now starts the bereavement process. I loved my job and the girls I worked with and my loyal customers that were like friends. One thing I�ve learnt today having loyalty for your job gets you nowhere. Sorry to all of you dibbers out there who have lost your holidays. Xxx

I just want to say how sorry I am for what's happened to TC today. I know things have been tough for a long time but I don't think any of us working in the industry thought it would actually come to this--and certainly not so soon.

I work for a long haul tour operator which had a long standing relationship with TC and have worked closely with TC staff for many years. Please know that we are all feeling for you and your colleagues and truly hope that you can get another position sorted quickly.

I feel your pain and I get where you are coming from as it sounds like it was more than just a job to you . I used the same TC agent for all our holidays and she was more like a friend than someone just selling me a holiday, I agree that loyalty counts for nothing in the grand scheme of things but be proud that you made so many customers feel special by treating them as friends, we will miss the personal service you gave in our high streets and I feel so sad today as although it hasn�t affected me financially I am really sorry to lose yet another established high street company.
I really hope you go on to find another job that you love as much as you did with TC x
