Wearing costumes in the parks

I always thought that adults were not allowed to wear costumes in the parks because of confusing children that they may be cast members.

I just returned from Disneyland Paris and saw a guy dressed in an Elsa dress and a lady dressed as Alice with another lady dressed as a queen of hearts.

I thought the same as you! We did dress up once in Florida but this was in the Halloween party so it was allowed.
I haven't seen adults dressed up there before.

I'm surprised. Unless the rules have changed, adults are not allowed to dress as characters. Disney Bounding is acceptable.

This is to stop guests bring confused by who is, and is not, a character. That said , a Bloke in a princess outfit...

I don't know how they got through. Unless they changed in the park. Strange.

I did not know what Disney bounding was but looking it up then I would say that describes the queen of hearts but the Alice girl was quite a good costume (but hair was not blonde with a hair band like Alice has).

The guy was just dressed in what looked like an official Elsa dress you can buy in the shops. No wig either.

Disney Bounding is wearing every day clothes that are similar in colour and pattern to charater outfits or somehow suggest a character. So someone may wear a spotted skirt and a black top for minnie for instance.
Now you know you will see it round the parks.
