Yes this is what I thought. We've booked a night at Pop Century to take advantage of the magic bands and a couple of days free parking

This reads as if you have to pay for both which you don’t if staying onsite. From January you have to pay to park at the resorts but you don’t have to pay again at the parks.
I know this isn’t what the OP asked but just in case someone else is reading.
