Thanks for all your help everyone.

I booked the flights this morning with Netflights for £299 each so they had gone up slightly. I have printed off the page that shows hold luggage included just in case !

Sorry but I will now be asking for advice about hotels !

Booking reference arrived within 15 minutes and seats booked already. Impressed so far anyway considering Netflights were so much cheaper than direct with Virgin.

Main thing to check with these agents is the T&C's around changes and cancellations. They usually bulk buy a bunch of seats at a discount (which come with the airline terms at that time for those types of seats). Those T&C's are usually seats which are non cancelable, or only changeable at a high cost.

Its the bulk buy that allows them to be cheaper and as they were bought at a point in time is why they may be out of step with the airlines latest seat classifications etc.

Provided you are happy with the T&C's then all is good.

I have checked and yes they are non cancelable/changeable . The seats were £81 each cheaper so £324 for the 4 of us is a big difference. We will just have to hope we dont need to change anything.
