Just booked Shanghai and Tokyo Disney Hotels!

Just completed my booking at last for my October trip:

Shanghai Disney Hotel - Park View Club room for 4 nights
Tokyo Disney Hotel - Concierge Room Grand Park View room for 3 nights
5 nights in Conrad Hilton, downtown Tokyo, Bay View Room Executive Suite!

Cant wait, all looks amazing. Had trouble with the Tokyo hotel, first the booking site has been down for 3 days, and the rooms go there so quick, on day of release, all the good rooms are usually gone.

All the balcony rooms were gone as soon as I logged on, plus the Alcove Rooms, but I managed to secure a Concierge (Club) room on the 8th Floor, so it should be OK.

Will need to read up on the benefits on Club/Concierge rooms in both hotels, and the differing benefits of staying on site, plus for the 35th Tokyo Disney anniversary, which was a welcome coincidence.

Still, 6 months to look and plan, but cannot wait...

...plus we got an Avios / airmiles special for a 'free' upgrade to BA First, both ways for £1000 in taxes. It is a special birthday and anniversary for us both this year, so well worth the expense, as it is not cheap at all... I will worry about that when the bill comes in

Cheers!

Fantastic Ian Apparently the Tokyo ones are not easy to come by at all so you did well there

Tomorrow we have 2 months to go and I'm started to get terrified lol as I all of a sudden realise the sheer enormity of it all and we're only doing Tokyo. Your trip sounds absolutely amazing! Enjoy your build up

I might be going next May, after Golden Week ends - do you know when those rooms become available, and an idea if prices for the rooms fluctuate much? hope to go just after golden Week and would love a stay a night at Disney hotel, but cannot justify the cost I think.

Edited at 01:34 PM.

I did Shanghai DL Club last year and it was great. The CMs were really good (and the concierge CMs speak impeccable English - we asked one of them and he said he had studied in Australia before). The lounge is large and has a great view of DL. When we were there, CL came with a full breakfast buffet, teatime pastries/coffee, light bites at dinner time (buffet with lots of different food options), and during fireworks you can watch from the lounge (with music piped in). Apparently there is some story time before bed where Mickey makes an appearance also but I missed this!

Thanks all - sounds perfect, and very exciting. I've never done Club in Florida as I always thought (on DDDP) it was expensive and not worth it, but for Shanghai and Tokyo it is really something we are looking forward to, and all the perks. The food and drink offerings sound good, plus the fireworks and Mickey!

I've only ever done club in Shanghai, and that was because I read some reviews/trip reports before booking and the club perks looked worth the extra money!

Hi, yes, booked them both direct.

They were open about 5 months in advance but check daily as the rooms go, especially Tokyo, almost as soon as they are released (well, the club rooms that we were after, almost gone by the end of the day of release!).

I'm told it is worth it, so keep 'em peeled! You will have to create an account if not already.

I think the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel has got to be my favourite hotel ever! We stayed in an Alice in Wonderland themed room back in 2016 and loved every minute of it - I’m sure you’ll have a fantastic holiday 😬
