Loving reading about everyones plans/adventures in New York, we are hopefully going in Feb, going to be freezing! Hoping to fit in a fair bit though, we arrive about 2-3pm, so dumping our stuff at hotel and probably go Times Square. First full day is Presidents day so not sure what to do maybe Intrepid and Central Park, (DH wants to go ice skating) and a carriage round the park. DD wants to visit American Girl shopand will visit Rockefella centre, day 2 for SOL and 9/11 and possibly Brooklyn Bridge. Not sure on day 3 yet. Lunch and Grand Central Station looks good! Might try and do The Ride, is it suitable for a nearly 10 year old? Also like the look of Ocean Odyssey. So much to see!

I am binge reading any trip report I can find involving New York at the minute !
We will possibly be there at the same time. We are staying 5 nights from 15/2 to 20/2. We are flying on sons 21st and I am not quite sure at what point I will tell him we are going. He has wanted to go since he was little and we will have to go on a movie tour especially the locations in Home Alone !

I am worried about the weather- I don’t really do cold !
My head is currently scrambled looking at hotels- there are so many and so many options !
The carriage ride sounds good, think I will look in to that one too !

Enjoy your planning !
