Halloween 2018 any new info?
Hello everyone, I’ve been reading but not posting for quite some time now after our trip in May half term 2017, as we hadn’t planned another stay at DLP for some time due to house sale/move and the fact we wanted to visit other places.
We are off to France/Paris and the North East area in August which we are looking forward to (first holiday in France with the kids) and I’d begun to look at day tickets for DLP as we could drive in 1.5 hours. The price was so high for the day that I started considering a stay instead. We realised Halloween this year is during our half term school holiday (it rarely is). And so I’ve just booked us a sneaky trip over October half term, with a plan to do the party this time! So excited - haven’t told the kids yet! I think we got a good deal staying at HNY (I know it’s due a refurb but the price was good and it included half board. I’d also been keen to stay before the Marvel makeover as we’ve always said we’d like to try it). I’ve been trying to read up on what will be happening at Halloween as it’s been a few years (4?) since we last did Halloween and we didn’t do the party as the girls were a bit too little. Anyone got any new snippets of info on the plans for this year - I’d imagine it’s quite similar to last year which looked amazing! I believe the tickets should be out any time soon. Need to sort our costumes out now! I knew that Maleficent headpiece would come in handy one year - ha! If anyone went last year, any tips would be appreciated please. Thanks! |

I think Halloween season will be even better this year, last year it was limited due to the 25th celebrations. So you should see decorations return on main street and the Halloween parade.
Last year details came out in early August. |

I am looking for the details each day. I understand that in previous years the tickets are released around this time

One thing that I've read (but can't find the source right now annoyingly!) is prices will be rising fairly significantly - up to 69 Euros per adult from the previous 45ish.

Thanks all. I was wondering if there was Shareholder's discount on party tickets? I'm sure there used to be. Anyone know? I did fire an email off the the Shareholder's email but didn't get a reply! I know there are AP discounts but our APs ran out in May.
I'll put a thread up here when tickets go on sale if I see them, or if anyone else sees them first, please do the same. |

Does DLP do lots of Halloween parties? Or is it just the one on Halloween?
I'm going at the start of Oct and would like to go to one!

The only new info I saw, there's going to be a Phantom Manor float for the Halloween parade/calvacade
