No Underground service to LHR over Christmas

Anyone hoping to travel to or from Heathrow on the Underground should take notice that there will be NO London services to Heathrow Airport between 24th-30th December and 2nd-3rd January.

Also there will be no Heathrow Express or TfL Rail (what was called Heathrow Connect) services on 25th-26th December.

On 26th December you can use buses or a rail replacement bus service from Hammersmith. There are no bus services on 25th December, however.

National Express from Victoria will be it raking it in .
Personally I prefer either that or the train to Feltham from Waterloo and then the bus to the tube at any time as both are step free and less crowded.
I never really understand why the tube is considered the only route. Heathrow express is to me really overpriced too although I understand it�s got better if you buy in advance.
Suppose it depends where you are starting from too though.
