We've also used BG recently in our new extension and they've been great. Bought them from Amazon. No complaints from the electrician.

One pet hate is when people have a lovely decorated room and keep their old once white sockets and light switches which costs very little to replace and look much nicer when replaced than having old grubby yellow marked up sockets and switches in a nicely decorated room.

Although I fit chrome lights switches and sockets for customers, I don't think they are very practical as especially light switches get covered in finger marks in no time (brushed steel is fine).

We have just got our samples from BG and looks like we are going for these.

Thanks for the advice.
