Anyone ever bought a refurbished

iPad? Been looking at a few but wasn't sure how reliable they would be anyone had any experience?

Yes. I bought one off ebay recently. It was perfect. Comes with a year warranty.

I also bought my phone, galaxy s8 refurbished from ebay. That was also perfect with a year warranty.

Id say look for the ones classes in excellent condition. I dont think I would bother buying a tablet or phone brand new now i've had refurbished!

We have bought a few refurbished Mac laptops and have never had a problem with them. We bought ours from Apple.

The problem we’ve found with Apple stuff is you can’t update IOS to the latest version with older Apple products, so many Apps you can’t download. So just beware, depending on what you want it for.

Bought refurbished iPhones from Argos. Come with a year’s apple warranty and had no problem getting them insured. Worth checking if they also do ipads

I bought iPad mini 4 from Apple , couldn’t tell it was a refurb except for the white plain box

We bought 2 iPad 2’s at the same time about 5 years ago from the Apple website.

I have just replaced mine with another refurbished one (iPad 2017) as has already been said, we can no longer update our old ones but I think that’s just because of the age of them, we still got 5 years out of them which isn’t bad really.

They have all looked brand new, the only thing different is, if you are bothered, they come in plain white boxes.

Thank you It’s actually to be for my mum, she won’t be needing many apps she’s a nightmare with her laptop so was hoping an iPad would be better for her she will mostly use it for emails & limited internet use
