Plug adaptors
What type of plug adaptor do we need i have seen the us use 2 different sockets 2 flat prongs and 2 flat with a rounded one what is the difference and which do we need we are staying at b resort them on to lowes royal

It’s the one with 2 flat prongs...just to add, we take a multi lead, so you can charge 4 things up at once. 😀

Generally they have the 2 prong and 1 round sockets and the 2 prong will work in both, just some sell the 2 prongs and some with the additional round one. If you can get the one with the 2 flat and 1 round it will stay in the socket better, the weight usually pulls it down. As said, get a lead adapter, either 4 or 6 and a usb plug.

I thought it was the same as the UK in that the top round pin handles earth, so is for those devices that also have an earth lead rather than just neutral and live.
If a UK device has a earth lead then for safety reasons the 3 pin version should be used was the info I was given. |

We take a couple of extension cables with 4 Uk sockets on each. Then we only need 2 US adapters for the leads and everything plugs into them using their Uk 3 pin plugs.

We will be buying new lamps for our master bedroom with USB ports this trip and changing a couple of sockets as well
We leave at least 2 double adapters with USB ports every trip and the dissapear unfortunately by the next time we go so hopefully this will help some |
