California Grill fireworks view
Hi,
I know that there is a special viewing area for the fireworks, but can you see anything from your table? I've just made a ADR for 9.30, so we would still be at the table when the fireworks start. Thanks for any advice x |

If you don't want a meal at Cali Grill there is a large balcony on level floor 4 at the Contemporary (near the link bridge to Bay lake Tower) complete with some seats that give a perfect view.

They are very accommodating with the meal and fireworks. They will hold food back so you can go out and watch, just ask your server.
The view from the table is excellent but being out on the balcony is breath taking., |

Thanks all!
I think I was almost hoping that the answer would be "don't bother with a reservation during the fire works" ! My dilemma now is, will 9.30 be to late for us in our first week there, and after a full day at KSC? Hmm.. Need to think this through (and the sad thing is, the kids will probably fine, it's DH and me who can't cope with late nights!) |

Sorry to hijack the thread, didn't want to start a new one with similar questions.
DW birthday is in October when we're there. She would like to eat here on her birthday and watch fireworks. On her birthday Magic Kingdom closes at 7pm, I assume for MNSSHP? Will there still be fireworks? Also I'm thinking of booking for 8 or 8:30 is this a good time for the fireworks? It doesn't say yet on the park hours what time Wishes is due to start. TIA |

Depends where your table is OP, the window tables have an amazing view but there are a large number of tables where you'd struggle to see at all.
The servers will hold your food back while you watch the fireworks on the terrace, they know that's why most people are there so it's pretty seamless. |
