Mobile Flying Norwegian - arriving into MCO @ 19.35

I know it's subject to change ... but anyone else done this flight - how was immigration etc?

Am I naively expecting it to be quieter as it's a later flight?!

Trying to work when to get a grocery shop delivered to the Vila!

Run a check on awt.cbp.gov/ for the day of the week you arrive and track it going forward, it will give you an idea

Overall I enjoyed the Norwegian flight (flew with them for the first time on 1 June this year).

However, it did feel a bit slow going, plane slightly delayed, took ages for the plane doors to be opened even though there was no obvious competing flights, took a long time to disembark (was toward the back), and immigration took a lot longer than I've been used to also, partly because there were fewer immigration staff and partly because in previous years we have been allowed to use the kiosks if we'd been before, but they didn't let us do that this time. It was a long time before we reached the villa.

Would you consider staying the night at the airport hotel in MCO ?

Even if you had paid for the villa for that night at least it would allow you then to access the villa really early in the daylight (you are bound to be up early next day), then pick up your own groceries from the supermarket ?

Personally I would fancy a late night drive to find your villa - but maybe I'm over cautious because we once got horrendously lost exiting MCO, late one evening.

Why add an unnecessary expensive night in an hotel to an already expensive holiday? Go to google maps, study the route that you need to take to your villa and write down directions so that the passenger can assist you.

Thanks All ... not bothered about the late drive - familiar with the area and its only 30 min from MCO ...

Think we will just do an early click and collect the following morning

We arrived Tuesday with Norwegian, flight was on time, on arrival at Orlando we were off the plane very quickly (we sat in row 7, was last on and first off) immigration was empty and we were straight through, bags took a while but was out collecting car in just over an hour from getting off the plane.

We were on this flight two weeks ago (home today :-() I think we landed about half an hour late and immigration was deserted... breezed through.
