Pity they don't offer a 5 day pass at something reasonable like £150

Airline flights are subject to all sorts of weird and wonderful fluctuations in price based on demand against supply and whatever the airline is paying off at the moment.
You did well, and/or were lucky (or were unlucky in 2010). The exchange rate wouldn't have had much of an effect on the change - it was pretty similar through both of those years. |

I think most people in the UK are already priced out, even so Disney are still seeing record attendance as are Universal - so their tickets seem priced just right. If they were seeing people staying at home they would reduce the prices but they aren't - little price rises like these aren't a barrier to a "once in a lifetime" holiday - they impact people returning but Disney already know you spend more on their "tat" in your first visit than your returns so they want the park full of newbies

They're not trying to be reasonable. That's the whole point, they want less people to pay more!
While people are standing in line for rides, they're not buying anything. Disney don't make money from the rides, they make money from all the extras. The ice creams, the treats, the souvenirs. Edited at 07:08 PM. |

Apologies - used the wrong exchange rate for 2015. It was actually around $1.528 on average through the year.
This means that £330 in 2015 would have been $504. An increase to $515 (2.2%) gives a UK price of £419 at $1.23 to the pound. It's the exchange rate. Not Disney. |

You're painting a very gloomy picture here and scaring people into thinking Disney might be out of their reach. The UK has the 5th highest GDP, it's likely we will bounce back, maybe not next year, but in all likelihood it will happen.
So whilst I agree that we must pay for the drop in exchange rate now, it's an over simplification to argue that the vote was the issue, and implying that's our lot. Even the BBC were quick to point out that the drop in the pound was about the impact of speculators on the market soon after. Now, the Disney price hikes... those we should be mad about  |

Hi just Paid £441 x 4 about a month ago with Orlando Attractions for Ticket Bundle that included Disney 14 day ultimate and 3 Park SeaWorld with Free Memory Maker and Free parking at SeaWorld for August 2017
[/B]This ticket is now £485. As we have DVC we don't pay onsite parking but I bet our annual dues are gonna be affected big time by exchange rate.
