Hertz Platepass cost

I've booked through Andy for 20 nights in January, and selected Hertz as they were literally Ł800 cheaper than Alamo (who we've always booked with in the past)

I've since remembered that Alamo are quite reasonable with their Toll fees (iirc capping at $19.75 for the entire trip, plus tolls), so I thought I'd check Hertz fees...

Wow...full price toll fees (fair enough, I don't mind that) plus a $5.95 'convenience fee' for every calendar day we hit a toll road, which will likely be every day for 20 days, as we like to explore/mini road trips, so basically an extra $119 for the duration of our holiday.

Oh well...back to checking whether Visitor Toll Pass is taking bookings again or not...

And they don't respond to emails asking when they plan to restart

Theres always the sunpass mini which you can pickup from the Pharmacy on every corner... $5 and then you top it up.

Just like Sunpass who never respond to emails when asked why they haven't updated the Avis toll fees
