After reading this thread last month I applied and so far we have been told we had 2 ppis!
One is with Barclay
Weve done the questionnaire that you have to answer its hard though as trying to remember what was said to you about ppi 25 yrs ago is hard!

Don't worry too much, some of it, is a tick box process. The lender will have a guide that they will action regardless. GOOD LUCK

Re tax paid at source from PPI payment.. R40, claim a refund of income tax deducted from savings and investments, can be fully completed/submitted online - see HERE. Filed hubs claim last week, apparently he should hear within 15 days and if successful receive payment within 5 weeks.

If you need any help shout out

We put he was told he had to have ppi and the bloke insisted on it otherwise we couldnt get the Barclay credit card
Also we put that husband already had sickness insurance through work

Now with the Halifax mortgage ppi we applied for compensation in 2012 but was told no .

When we first applied-
We were told at the time we had to have it or no mortgage deal
Now reclaimppi Halifax has come back saying we had ppi
So now go to wait and see if we are entitled to anything on both ?
Thing is we answer best we can truthfully but wonder if our answers will screw us over!

I sent my forms off 2 weeks ago, so far had an email saying valid claims on Halifax credit card, Woolwich mortgage and 2nd mortgage and Barclays mortgage! Woman at work just ≈≈≈≈≈≈ on my chips saying she got those and filled in the extra form to be told they had no paperwork so would be no payout!

Anyone had this?

Surely as the companies have said you have a valid claim then they must have the details

If the Lender has confirmed that you have PPI, then you have a case. You just need to submit your complaint forms and wait. I would ignore the woman from work.
