Disney On-site + Universal advice please
Looking for advice please, we are planning on staying at the Disney Beach Club but we would like to visit Volcano Bay. What would be the best way to do this, spend at couple of nights at a universal hotel before our stay at Disney or just get a taxi to the volcano bay for a day pass. We are not doing the other Universal park as our little girls don’t fancy it.

If you’re not doing the other universal parks I’d personally think a stay at universal would be a waste of money. Not only would you be paying for the hotel but also a taxi there & back along with food on the evening vs just a taxi to & from VB.

If you were doing the main parks then I would have suggested the Universal stay but just for VB, personally I would Uber/Lyft to a from. You can also bus there but whist cheap it is a pain due to multiple changes

As above, if you are only doing VB then I'd suggest just getting an uber, lyft or regular taxi to and from the park and buying a day ticket. Although it is more convenient staying onsite, it's not really worth it.
BTW, the other Universal parks are excellent with stuff to do for all ages. Also, you may find the waterparks at Disney provide enough splashy fun that a trip to VB isn't required.
