Mobile Hampton Lakes - decent place to be based?

Found a really nice villa (tbh, most of them are) in Hampton lakes.

I’m just looking for people’s views on that as an area. Is it handy enough to get about?

Stayed a few times on there, Nazha Drive area plus west ridge across the road..

Location wise.. Its fine, non gated community, close to Berry Town centre which has a few takeaways and public, close enough to the walmart at the end of the 192 etc..

I prefer to be in this area compared to East of the i4...

Personally I prefer staying north of the end of the 192 rather than south now...

We love Hampton Lakes. Beautiful quiet estate and even better if your pool backs onto one of the two Lakes. Easy access to US27 and hence I4 and the 192. Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets within a 15 minute drive with the Parks being 20-40 minutes away traffic dependant. Would probably say this is our second Favourite estate. Enjoy!

Personally it wouldn't be for us as I think it is on US-27 - a road we really dont like.
If staying in that area we like the likes of Emerald Island or Formosa Gardens. But our favourite is Sunset Lakes as it is in a great location and nearly every villa has a lake view so you aren't looking into another villa or a fence.

They are currently building a Publix just off Bella Cita so about a 5 min drive, they also opened up a Wendy’s opposite Highlands and are working on a Dollar Tree next to Wendy’s.

Can be in WDW from there in 15 mins.

I agree, Google maps says 22 min to AK at the moment with very little traffic.

stayed there several times normally fine if you avoid the I4. Unless you're going to Busch of course

We liked it there but kept getting worms in the pool and the garage, they kept coming out and cleaning but we kept getting them. There was obviously A problem because the management company knew about it. The villa itself was gorgeous.

Lovely area. 2 mins to Berry Town Centre, a little bit longer to champions gate, both have Publix and restaurants and there’s is a new Publix being built just up the road too which means more shops.
