Posted opening times
If MK is posted as opening at 0900 does it generally stick to this.
As with the other parks We were going to leave the room at 0800 for 0900 openings Does this leave enough time as we are onsite

I would probably leave a little earlier especially if you want to see the opening ceremony.
If you are using Disney transport you may have to wait a while for a bus. We waited nearly half an hour on one day for a bus (I have to say this wasn't the norm) but if you want to definitely be there for the opening you need to give yourself some extra time. If you are driving you have to park and then boat/monorail which can be quite timely as well. |

Whenever we have arrives at MK a little early it has already been open!
Even when we go REALLY early for EMH there always seems to be other people already in the park and we go straight through the turnstiles. I agree about the onsite bus, it can be very busy in the morning and slower than you expect. We always take the car (if we have one) and get parked close enought to TTC to walk from the car to the monorail (quicker) or ferry. |
