Quick service- mobile phone ordering

We saw this a few places but only tried it once. You can place your order on the MDE app.
Place it whenever is convenient then when you get to the restaurant you tap 'I am here ' and the food comes our very quickly. You skip any queues. We thought it was good. Wish we'd tried it earlier.

You can't use dining plan credits - it has to be a card payment.

excellent to know I like Columbia Harbour House except the queuing as there just isn't enough room. Must remember to try this in October.

As soon as this is on DDP (or I run out of credits ) I will be using it for sure. It's my favourite feature of the Starbucks app! Although I suspect special diets may still be counter ordering.

Yup, I know that's the case now but they're still in initial launch really. Am hoping it expands to both DDP and special diets by the time we go.

BoG pre-order can handle special diets, so can't see why mobile ordering couldn't potentially as well. Or I'll just order my own things and make DH queue for his special food. (I'm not really that mean, but it's tempting sometimes)
