I'd be over the moon if I could get close to that. Anything under £500 for that route for end of October and I'd jump at it!

Excited about Disney

We're looking for 6th Oct - 1st November 2018. Haven't paid more than £400 return each on any of our trips and don't intend doing it this time either. Looking forward to starting my daily price check spreadsheet.

Haha, it's just a personal spreadsheet. I input the cheapest price each day. Have historic data going back to 2014 (although some gaps when we had come back from a holiday and weren't sure when we'd return - I think I'm missing maybe three months).
The first day I see a price under £400 return, I book. Bit pointless keeping the spreadsheet really but I kinda like doing it. I also check AFTER I've booked as I'm an idiot. Trip 1 and 3 our price was the best we could have got but Trip 2 was nearly £200 cheaper overall and direct (not indirect like I'd booked a couple of months before)

We have already booked our villa. We want to fly direct from Manchester to Orlando 20th July 2018 return 10th August 2018. 3 adults 1 child aged 15. At the moment direct flights are £4000+. We also need to book car hire. What price were august flights this year and what price should I hold out for.

There should be another thread for Summer flights, we're concentrating on Oct/Nov here mostly so have no idea really about other times! However, direct flights in the Summer are in the ballpark you're seeing of £1000pp.

We have just booked for 2 people 2nd October to the 20th 2018 for 400 each. That includes a bag each and cancellation protection. But no food. Pretty chuffed, that’s the cheapest i have ever paid flying with Norwegian
