What insurance needed for villa booking
Hi
I’ve found a villa that I like but I’m not sure what insurance to get in case anything goes wrong. How do I cover everything even if it’s not a real villa? Hope that makes sense Thanks |

Are you talking about travel insurance that would cover you for loss of your money paid to stay at a Villa? For a start the loss would need to be an insured peril. It would would also depend on a multiple of factors and is pretty hard to give an answer tbh.
A villa owner on here would clarify what you should look out for and where you can cover yourself. |

Where have you found the villa? Are you communicating with owner? If so ask for DWE license number.

Hi Thanks for your reply. Yes I am talking to the villa owner and I found the villa on the windsor hill rentals website. I'm looking at Insurance in case anything happens with the villa (sold or anything worse). Ill ask for the number thanks.

Hi I’ve asked the owner for a DWE and she’s not familiar with it. Should I avoid?

I wouldn't tell you to do that but she should have one. Is she new to renting out? All owners should have one it's a kind of hotel licence. And we pay for it every year. Some advertising sites won't accept people without them.
She may know it as State Licence number but it will start with DWE. Edited at 06:54 PM. |
