Sleeping In A Safari, An Animal Kingdom Lodge Adventure - Day 8 Discovery Cove

We are at Discovery Cove today. This is usually one of my favourite days of the holiday!

We have got a Cabana today. It is a beautiful and relaxing area.

The cabana overlooks the dolphin pools.

Breakfast time.

Wearing a wetsuit today as I find the water in the fish area and dolphin swim areas very cold.

Mum and dad went to the Aviary but as I have a fear of birds I stayed back at the Cabana and watch the first dolphin swims.

We went round the Wind-away river. This water was quite nice and warm.

We took some time to chill on the seats in the warm water.

We then had a look at the otter and marmosets.

Then it was time for our dolphin swim. We had Thelma and Luna for a little bit. Thelma is the leader of this pod.

Now it's time for lunch. I don't usually like American desserts as much but these were delicious.

We then took some time to relax in the cabana. The hammock was incredible.

We headed over to the grand reef. I'm not a big fan of the cold water or sting rays that are about three times the size of me!

We headed back to the warm seats and the otters again before closing.

I always come out of discovery cove with a big smile on my face and feeling fully relaxed.
