Older people hugging in public?

To continue with my series on things older people shouldn't do in public, I think that passionate hugging in public with their partner is a definite no no. Any touching of bottoms during a hug is outrageous in my opinion.

Let me clarify that an older person giving others a brief hug is fine, but absolutely no passionate should be involved when they are hugging a partner.

What does my dibb family think?

Sometimes when DH and I go for a walk, I will pat him affectionately on the bum as we are walking along. After all there is nothing wrong with showing each other abit of affection, we are man and wife and live together. The world would be a very cold place without some form of being tactile with your partner. Holding hands, a peck on the lips, a cheeky cuddle all acceptable to me.

Hugging is fine, I’m not that much into hugging strangers but when dds party was over a couple of the girls hugged me. I hug my kids and poppy and me and dh have a hug sometimes, meeting family and friends after a long time we hug each other. I hope you show Mrs MH some affection, is there a list on the wall saying no snogging, no hugging, no holding hands!

That is fine because he's only kissing her forehead and you can't see he's got his hands in a private area. Plus she is more leaning into him rather than a proper hug.

So I am happy with that pictire.
