4th July weekend
We are due to arrive in Disney on 1st July. Just realised it will be the 4th July weekend. So I can imagine it will be CRAZY busy. Is it still ok to hit the parks? Or shall we stay away altogether? I do t mind doing shopping or water parks or head to Kennedy space centre instead but is everywhere else just as busy?

We went into MK 4th July 2019, it was crazy busy but we still managed a few rides and lunch at The Plaza.

4th of July MK fireworks are brilliant, as good if not better than NYE. They also have a practice run on the 3rd. There's a couple of videos here I took from our balcony at the Contemporary.

The parks will be busy, I think its often one of the busiest days before xmas. Doesn't mean you can't go, just be prepared for the crowds
I'd highly recommend a trip to celebration, I did that once, the fireworks were great, although it does get very busy there as well. |

Either in the park itself or a restaurant with an MK view like California Grill or Narcoossees.
