2000-ish I was at uni in Leeds and my friends worked at a bar called 'Flares'. They were opening a new on in Sheffield so her boss organised a minibus there and gave us a crate of the things. I vaguely remember crying in a car park at some point but no idea what about!  The next day woke up mega hungover and the only thing I could find (being a student house) in the fridge to eat was a cucumber! I wasn't able to eat cucumber either for a couple of years after...

Ahhh easy. Turbo shandy. Pint of smirnoff ice topped up with stella artois. Something in my head vigorously wanted to eacape in the morning. Something from my stomach did.

12 years ago I decided to be healthy for a month and not drink any alcohol, one month went to three then a year and so for me it's no particular alcohol but all. But I clearly remember that need to put your foot on the floor when you are in bed to stop the room spinning.

one evening we thought it was would be a laugh to only do rounds of 1/2 cider with pernod in it with a dash of blackcurrent known round these parts as a 'black witch' it didnt end well cant smell aniseed without the urge to hurl to this day |
