Villa welcome centre

Hi everyone.

We arrived last night and went to a welcome centre to collect details for our AOA villa which we booked through florida4less. We got directions to the villa which is about a 20 minute drive from the welcome centre and around 10-15 mins from Disney.

The villa is absolutely lovely and we were very impressed with how clean and tidy it was. I know there have been a few horror stories about AOA villas lately so wanted to let people know ours is great.

However, what I really want to know is that on the paperwork it says that we have to go back to the welcome centre this morning to fill out some form or other. How important is it that we do this today? We were hoping to head to MK for rope drop this morning and this welcome centre is only open between 9am and midday today and it is closed tomorrow.

What do you all think?

Glad you are pleased with your villa. Personally I would phone the welcome centre (if you can) whilst you're at MK and tell them that you will file the paperwork with them on Monday as you've made plans for today. It is a bugbear with AOA accommodation that you're expected to go back to do the paperwork, thereby eating in to your precious holiday time. Hope you have a great day at MK.

On the paperwork it said within 48 hours but in all fairness they are only open for 3 out of those 48 hours so don't think they can expect too much. If I'd made an ADR for this morning then there is no way I'd have been going there anyway. I'm going to ring and tell them that if there is anyone still there this afternoon or tomorrow then I'll do it then but failing that it will have to wait until Monday.

When we stayed in an AOA villa, the MC called into see us early on our first morning to do the paperwork. That way we didn't lose any time.

~Good to hear that you have a nice villa. Which community are you in?

We wanted to get to park early on our first full day so just checked that they were ok with us registering a day later. Was with Thomsons but they were fine with that.

We filled forms in when we collected details of the villa, they still gave us paperwork about filling in forms, are you sure you have not already done it ?

I phoned the welcome centre from MK and they said it was done to go and do it on Monday do that was a relief. We are in silver creek at woodridge. I don't know much about the communities having only been before as a child but I really am impressed with the villa. The a is with a company called American sunshine vacations.
