Changing at Newark

I opted for 4 and a quarter hours rather than 2 and 3/4 for our change, I hope this will be enough. Assuming it is (!), will we probably have time for a meal?

What’s Newark like? Any nice places to eat/good viewing points?

We normally use the garden state diner when connecting through Newark.

Plenty of time but it was very busy when we went through, I think we ended up with good from Starbucks

4+ hours sounds like plenty of time and should hopefully leave enough time for a meal too!

However unless things have changed at Newark since I last went through it (late 2017) - it was a very strange place payment wise, as most shops/restaurants only accepted payment by card or by United miles it seemed! It was rather odd. One of the shops had a single cash payment point which had a long queue.
