Not sure if this is related, but asked Virgin for quote tonight for OKW but they said could not provide one until new brochure out on 26th.

Is it me or is this whole situation with booking SSR/OKW for next year really frustrating? Some companies selling, uncertain discounts etc. Theses companies who are meant to be businesses are making it very difficult for us to give them our money.
My holiday dates for SSR not on tcd either.

Yeah, it's driving me mental. I'm a worrier/over reactor by nature but this is honestly all just seeming very chaotic!
I'm looking into POFQ next year instead!

I have noticed with TCD that they constantly put it on and off. We have looked before aswell and there is no free ddp then if you go back and search again it comes up. Think their website may be a bit rubbish

Disney only release a certain percentage for discount so it's possible the discounted allocation has sold out.

I have also noticed that SSR has disappeared for August 2013, one minute it was there as I was going to book after discussion with DH, then it was gone. Hope it comes back after Thursday.

As both SSR and OKW are DVC resorts there's only a small percentage of rooms available for cash bookings. The majority of the properties are part of the DVC inventory and they're only available for booking by DVC members using points. Members can't book anything earlier than 11 months from date of check-in.
