Milk bottles on the doorstep with the tops pecked off by birds in winter (or do milkmen still deliver milk with foil tops? )

Having to actually go out to go to the reference library and look through the microfiche with it's grubby little cards to find a book if you wanted to know something!

Dog poo on pavements, which was white and crumbly

Chalking hop scotch on paths with your Nanna's cheap ornaments

Winning a goldfish in a bag at the fair (which would invariably die! )

Rewinding a tape with a pencil if it all came off spool.

Oh yes, and children's TV programmes on at teatime, finishing at 6pm with Magic Roundabout!

I used to spend many happy hours watching flight arrivals on Teletext in the mid 70's - now we have flightradar24 - much better.

Black and White tvs, our 1st colour tv was for 1973 royal wedding!
10 aniseed balls for an old penny
Making a telephone box call for (new) 2p. My Brownie troop had to make pretend 999 calls to Brown Owl's husband as part of getting a badge. Poor man!

Boys being caned at school...

Going to the minors on a Saturday morning at the pictures
Bottles of milk at morning playtime at school, frozen in the winter and creamy and warm in the summer.
