Suggestions for replacement laptop

Hi all

My old Acer laptop now has a broken screen and I have been quoted £99 for a replacement.

I was looking at maybe replacing it anyway later this year as was about 6 or 7 years old so perhaps I'd be better to do this and then transfer the files over to it?

I'd like a 14 inch screen (minimum, ideally 15.6), Windows 10, minimum 128Gb hard drive (not had SSD before), won't be playing any intensive games - will be used for web browsing, emails, streaming etc. I think it is unlikely but if I can have a disc crive, that would be great as I like ripping CDs.

Happy to consider a refurbished laptop as long as category A!

Any suggestions? Budget around £250.

Thank you.

Kev

Hi, thank you for the reply. I've got a Chromebook which I do use but I'd like a W10 laptop as there are a couple of programs I need to use which aren't available on the Chromebook

£250 dosnt get you a lot of laptop if your budget is below 500 I’d look at desktop options first

Thank you, I'm looking for something that I can take out and about, as required. Will need a newer desktop next year though!
