TC offered people with a package to re book but if you just had a flight there was no free change and if you cancelled you lost your money and insurance would not cover as the flight was still going.

we are the 5th also with virgin from Gatwick and had a sick dog which is now on the mend thankfully and was just starting to get excited again about our trip I just hope we manage as the tracking is now saying to hit Orlando wed morning just hope everybody is safe

Good idea. See the DVC forum, meet up thread. I posted a link to a story about sitting through a hurricane by a Brit journalist where her family did exactly that and we're v pleased they did. I would do it.

Lol fair point, bad idea.

Not sure what to do then because the trip is probably going to be a write off for us and the travel insurance company have said they won’t do any refunds since the airline have offered to reschedule for free. Urgh.
